6,000 minutes and counting
After nearly 6,000 of the longest minutes of my life, I received the phone call. The phone call finally happened granting me permission to be scheduled: scheduled for the Breast MRI that the Radiologist from the Breast Care Center ordered last Thursday. Who knew! Scheduling a Breast MRI is tougher than getting into the White House!
After a 15 minute interview by phone (do I have a pacemaker, am I claustraphobic, am I wearing a cochlear implant), I am officially in the system and will arrive tomorrow morning at 9:15 a.m., checking in for the 10:00 a.m. test. The results require a day or two turn around time, so I should have the results before I get on the airplane on Saturday for an out of the country buisness trip.
Deep breath!
Long Pause!
The relief I feel has "nap" written all over it! While I'm fully aware that most nodules are nothing--with every minute lapsing my concerns grew exponentially. Finally, I am scheduled for the elusive Breast MRI.
I have seriously tried to focus on any thing other than bumps and lumps the past few days. Seriously, I have! I have cleaned, cleaned, cleaned! I have taken some time to do a few errands that fell by the wayside while we were spending days and nights at the hospital with my mother-in-law. For a more thorough update, please visit Sally's Update She is truly amazing! And God is so good!
Am going to hit the publish button before another fleeting minute passes. Why is it when you are waiting for something--time stands still; when you aren't--you can feel the breeze against your face as it passes by? No time for philosophical discourse though, I feel a nap calling!

Your feelings of apprehension are absolutely normal, of course. I've done this a couple of times and I know how long those 6,000 minutes were. Praying for good reports for you. And yes, your mother-in-law is amazing. Let's hope for more good news!
Let us know!
I pray for God's peace to PERMEATE you today...for quick results, and for good reports!
Hope all goes well with your tests!
I'm glad you finally got the call. Now relax and rest and take a nap. I'll be praying for you!
Glad you got that scheduled. Praying that nothing will be found.
