The results are in!
Just received the phone call from Nurse Kelly. The results are in, and while there is a bit of a detour, they are good...no they are great!
The Breast MRI has confirmed the following:
Relating to the left breast nodules: no enhancment found. (To find out more about how a Breast MRI works, click on here. The contrast they add via IV apparently enhances any known concerns). None found!
Relating to the right breast: (Yes, after worrying solely about my left breast, I had to catch up quickly to hear the report of my right breast!) The radiologist found an enhancement (the contrast lit it up). He believes it is "almost certainly benign" but is ordering an ultrasound follow-up in six-months.
So there we have it, the results have arrived, and I am thrilled. Well, that is until I remember that I still have some major packing to do for our 10 day business trip to Argentina. We leave tomorrow.
I am taking my laptop with me and hope to keep in touch and maybe even publish a post or two while we're away. I do know that I have been interviewed by Faith Lifts, a fabulous new blog dedicated to encouraging, uplifting and supporting Christian Women. I believe my interview will be posted tomorrow morning....please stop in. If this site is not on your blogroll to date, it is worthy of risking your template to add! Maybe I'm just speaking for myself on that one; I enter my template with fear and trepidation--don't want to shut all of blogger down!
Thank you so much for your encouragement and your prayer support throughout the last week (and beyond concerning my MIL). I will continue to update Sally's blog while I am away and hope to have some real quality blogging time while simultaneously supporting my husband on this business trip. Sounds reasonable, doesn't it!?!?

PRAISE THE LORD!!!!
I hope you have a great trip. Know it's business, but take time for fun. And take some pictures. We'll be here when you get back.
Wonderful news. It sounds very encouraging and I know you're relieved.
I'll check for your interview at Faith Lifts. It's one of the most encouraging new sites out there.
And have a great time in Argentina. Lucky you.
Praise the Lord! I am thrilled at your news. God is so good.
Have fun on your trip!! I am leaving as well for Miami Beach for a week, and can't wait! Thanks for your visit, to my blog I cannot wait to hear about your trip.
Blessings!
That test sounded awful! I think I would have died from claustrophobia before they could find out if I had something like cancer! But PTL for good results, and quickly! All that waiting for such quick results - amazing. Enjoy the trip!
I have to go for some tests this afternoon - offered by the company we're paying to someday take care of us when we're REALLY old. Not looking forward to it - mostly because I had to fast my lunch!
We'll look forward to your updates, and hopefully some pictures. Maybe Blogger will settle down soon. I am really frustrated with it right now. I had a whole huge post ready to go and it didn't publish - didn't even try! It just disappeared, with all my thoughts.
I tagged you when I finally got the blog rewritten. I don't know if you'll have time or not, but if you do, it'll be fun. Have a great trip!
Praise the Lord! So glad the results came back before your trip. I'll be praying for your safe travel. Enjoy your trip!
I hope you have a wonderful trip and some time to spend with your hubby away from all the hustle and bustle...
I am so glad that your test results were good.
I'm really happy for you - yeah!
So glad about your results. Have a safe and relaxing trip.
I hope you have a safe trip!
