ADDENDUM for May 3rd

A bit of a clarification is needed. This post is an excerpt from my prayer journal, which, one day I hope will become a Prayer Calendar for Hurting Parents. It was written during the peak of a crisis and should be noted, I never imagined that I could be feeling the joy I have been feeling these past few weeks!~ A prayer journal is a worthy effort; it, not only is a means to cry out to God, it is a valuable tool as you look back at your prayers and see how truly amazing answered prayer really is!

Blessings! Diane

What a beautiful blog. It's awesome that you've kept this in a prayer journal. I pray that one day it will touch the lives of many, many moms who are believing for their sons and daughters.

Awesome!

You are so right about a prayer journal. I am not sure why I can't keep mine up. It is so wonderful to go back and see His faithfulness. Thank you for the reminder.

You are right about a prayer journal. I've not been faithful in keeping mine up like I should...sounds like I'm not the only one who is either. But it is great to be able to look back on paper and see when and how God saw fit to answer my requests according to His will...not my will!! Sometimes my will lines up with His will...but not always. I have had some prayer requests that were answered no...and that was okay. It was for my good or for the person's good that I was praying for. Thank you for being such a blessing and encouragement to fellow sisters in Christ.

Whew!! I was wondering what calamity had befallen you since the last post! Glad to hear it's an entry from your prayer journal and not a current crisis. :)

Now I can breathe a sigh of relief. But I'm sure all those extra prayers never hurt.

I also have a hard time keeping a prayer journal, which is one of the reasons I started my blog.

It is often humbling to look back and see that God was at work through it all even if you couldn't see it at the time.

Your willingness to share in hopes of comforting others is a blessing to me!
