Prodigal, You Ask?

On February 14, 2006, I wrote the first-ever post for Partners In Prayer For Our Prodigals blog. Little did I know then...5 years later, on February 15th at 7:00 pm CT, I would be hosting a web cast entitled "Prodigal, You Ask?" and launching the official website for Partners In Prayer For Our Prodigals to support a new ministry outreach.

Many of you have been on this journey with me from the beginning and know what a newbie I was to cyber space! I have learned from each of you, but most of all, I have been "pinch-me-I'm-so-blessed" by each of you as I shared the pain of loving a prodigal so publicly. Your support, your encouragement, your prayers were significant in this journey; you are, literally, the pioneers of what I now call: The Prodigal Hope Network.

I would love to have you join me for this inaugural web cast, Prodigal, You Ask? You have traveled so long on this prodigal journey with me, it would be wrong not to invite you!

If you know of others who love a prodigal and feel oh-so-alone, please let them know about this FREE web cast.

To join me for this 'anniversary' launch, please register at http://www.eventbrite.com/event/1182895071/efbnen to receive the free access link to attend "Prodigal, You Ask?" from the comfort of your own home/office computer.

Thank you for being on this journey with me...I thank God for bringing you into my life!

Diane

Hey, I just came across your blog by doing a bit of blog-surfing, and I'm glad I did! I've added myself as your newest follower, and I hope you'll check out my Christian devotional site as well: www.nocondemnation81.blogspot.com

Have a blessed day!

Hi Diane,
Don't know if you'll remember me. I used to blog as Mugwumpmom at 3forward2back. I shut that blog down a couple of years ago but am blogging again on a conflict transformation blog. But that's not why I'm posting. I wanted to let you know that my husband who was prodigal from the Father for close to 26 years returned to Jesus in June 2010. It happened so subtly that I did not even clue in...I had purposed to back off totally and let God have His way, and just surrendered him to our Father, trusting His word. Jim told me that God began invading his thoughts and heart in March until one night he surrendered his life to him in the hot tub of all places. Now he stands in the gap praying for our 21 yr old son who is also prodigal. I have never seen such an extreme change in anyone as I've seen in my husband. It's amazing and God is so so sooooooo GOOD!! You're "respite" was always such a good reminder for me to back off and trust God and I hope this testimony encourages you and all your readers who are waiting for their prodigals to return. God is faithful more than you can even imagine...oh, and one more thing...it seems to me that when a prodigal returns, God puts them on a fasttrack of discipleship to make up for lost time. LOL!
Thanks again.
