Spring has sprung....in Bryson, Texas!!!!

The shrubs are blooming

The birds are singing!

The calves have arrived...

AND.....love is in the air!

We had a wonderful week at the ranch.

Our son's girlfriend was able to join us for a few days and a good time was had by all!

He has good taste!

She is a wonderful young woman!

I am happy for them!

Although we have returned to snowy Minnesota, the warm memories of an Easter spent in Texas remain in our hearts!

We await the beauty that lays under a freshly fallen blanket of snow.

Until then...I'll be shoveling!  UG!

Wonderful pictures! Those two could do a toothpaste commercial! What great smiles.

I feel so sorry for you - not being able to cook in your kitchen or anything! Not that you do too often anyway, eh??

Hey, have you tried Flickr.com for uploading your pictures? I always used it until I started having too many pictures in a month's time and had to wait till the next month to do it again - then I went to Blogger. I never have any trouble uploading there - give it a shot next time Blogger is being a pain.

Yes, under all that snow lies beautiful flowers and grass!

It's Spring here in Northeast Arkansas too, Diane! We can never rule out a late snow or freeze even this late in March though. Our average last frost is April 15th. Last year we had a hard freeze the second week in April and it got most of our fruit and nuts and people's garden stuff, and even some crops that had already been planted.

Hang in there, Spring is working its way North! :o)

Love and hugs,

Diane

It's so amazing to see that snowy picture. We've been in "Spring" for quite awhile.

That's what so fun about blogging...or educational...in this case. Our country is so vast...and the weather is so different everywhere. I'm always fascinated by my blogging-friends' pictures of where they live...and what the weather is doing.

That snow looks beautiful...but I know you are ready for Spring!

It's great that you had a Spring getaway to Texas. Maybe that will hold you over until the snow melts in Minnesota. We're having snow too, right this second. But I heard the first song bird today, so I know that Spring is on its way.
