Tuesday's are VOTING kind-a-days!

I am interrupting my self-imposed blogging break to bring this great opportunity to you--

I have been overwhelmed with much to get done before my husband and I leave the Country on a business trip; we'll be in Ireland, leaving on Sunday. While I knew we would be traveling, I thought we were leaving next Wednesday--in fact, we are leaving this Sunday. That may not seem like a huge difference to you--but for this procrastinator....every day matters!!!! Life can be busy enough without the preparations necessary to leave for a week: leaving our 10th grader home with our married daughter, settling my mom in at her apartment with the necessary supplies for my absence, getting my homework done for this week's class, next week's class, and the supplemental paper necessary because I will miss next week's class....phew! I needed those extra days!!!

However, back to my point.

This morning, before I settled into my research for next week's homework assignment, I checked my email and had received a notice that a new post could be found at Especially Heather. Clicking over, I discovered her post, entitled, "Now, for a favor." If you know Heather at all, she rarely asks for anything, in fact, she is known to bless others even in the midst of her own medical crisis--brain cancer.

I should have known; the favor she is requesting is not for herself, it is for another blogger who is struggling with breast cancer.

Her blog is at: Law Mom
the voting link is at: Vote For the Winner of the 2007 Blogging Scholarship

Check this opportunity out; it is a simple, yet very meaningful way to bless another mom who is battling cancer. We rallied around Heather via Pay Pal, let's rally our votes and make Kim the winner of this 2007 Blogging Scholarship. She has been nominated in the top 20 blogs for this award and it would be so wonderful to see her win the $10,000 scholarship!

Have fun voting!

I just voted, and Kim is winning! There is a relatively close second, so I really hope she gets it!!!
