I've just seen Jesus

Each and every comment, each and every email, each and every phone call has been such a blessing to me since this trial began. This morning, I received an email from a first time visitor to my blog, an unknown blogger wrote to share words of encouragement and experiential truth. Although many of you are unknown to me, I recognize you....you have the heart of Jesus. It ocurred to me as I was sitting in stunned silence, that I have indeed, just seen Jesus. Your words have reminded me once again, I am not in this alone. Jesus loves my prodigal, he loves me--and He sees us!!!!!

My grief has no room in my heart as it rejoices, much like Mary of Magdelene and the other Mary must have felt as they approached the tomb of Jesus and he was not there.

During a time that it is normal to feel such isolation, such sadness, such despair--I have discovered in a very real way--that Jesus is right here with me. Even though the darkness of the tomb is evident, the struggle of the past days very real.....I have "seen the Lord!"

Just as the Mary's were compelled to share this great news with their friends, sit back with me and listen to Sandi Patti and Larnel Harris as they sing this very beautiful song. Be touched! Be blessed! As you have blessed me! Thank you for your willingness to reach out to another; for your faithfulness in being "Jesus with skin on!" What a difference He truly makes in our lives. While we may feel trampled by the circumstances of our life--because of Jesus, we will never be the same....again!

I've just seen Jesus
I tell you He's alive!
I've just seen Jesus
Our precious Lord alive
And I knew, He really saw me too
As if 'til now, I never lived
All that I've done before
Won't matter anymore
I've just seen Jesus........and I'll never be the same again!

I'm grateful to our Lord that He has made himself real to you during this difficult time. I could not have asked for more in my prayers for your situation. You are an example to others with any struggle or difficulty they face to see Jesus in it and cling to him. I am still praying for you and your family.

It is a joy to read your post Diane. All the comments in the world wouldn't have meant anything if you hadn't had a heart willing to recieve them. So often we miss seeing Jesus because we are so overwhelmed by our circumstances. I know I've been like that. When our hearts are turned toward Him, we find He is right there - reaching out to us in so many different ways.
I love your open heart - willing to recieve all that He has for you. I am so glad you are encouraged and strengthened.
We will keep you in our prayers - for He truly does love you more deeply than we can ever fathom.

The video gave me goose bumps, as it always has when they sing together. When she was a college student, we heard her sing in church (we lived there then) and she just about knocked everyone's socks off. Bill and Gloria gave her a huge boost and I've been a fan ever since. (My husband worked for Bill back then) They are such precious people.

Thank you for sharing that and your thoughts on seeing Jesus. You have such a journey ahead of you and I feel privileged to be part of the prayer support. Blessings, Diane.

Keep on trucking. Jesus will help you. That is if he can take a break from editing his website.

Thanks for the cheerful and insightful comment on my blog. You are such an inspiration to me with your enthusiastic faith.

I'm praying for your son and the family. May God use this for good in his life. I'm learning it takes many "good" experiences for them to learn.

I enjoyed the music, and I have been blessed by your heart for God.
Your son is in my prayers tonight.
