SNOW in Texas!

Geesh! Can I get away from this snow! Believe it or not, it snowed on April 7th in Texas! While the Dallas relatives were amazed, especially the kids, we were less than thrilled, although it was beautiful! And the best part....it only lasted for a day. THAT's my kind of snowfall! The next morning--there was no trace of it!
I have so many great photos to share with you....and I will, as soon I get a new Compact Flash. Have you seen these? They are great! When they work that is! You take your memory card out of your digital camera, put it in the Card reader and put it in your computer USB port. Voila'! Your photos can be uploaded. Alas, in my enthusiasm to upload the snowy photos....my card reader is no longer recognized and has malfunctioned. So, it's off to Best Buy to get a new one so I can post a few pictures. We had such a nice weekend at the Ranch...in spite of the fact that since I've been there...the MAD COW has now gone out of business...and things aren't looking so good for CURL UP 'N DYE. Bryson, Texas is struggling my friends! Looks like I will have to visit more often and support its economy!

While I am at Best Buy, please stop by Twenty Eight Celsius to read Part Five of Kevin's series. What an amazing testimony! What an amazing God! For his mother's perspective, click here.Kevin and Dawn (and family)....we are rejoicing with you for this incredible and amazing miracle of deliverance.

Hi Diane, it's been forever since I read your blog! But it was nice to play catch up. Looks like you've travelled a lot lately. We are hoping to go to FL sometime in May. Can't wait to enjoy some warm sunshine. Sema.

Now that looks like one handy dandy little gadget - I could like one of those!

I have a doo-dad that came with my camera that does that...

Kevin's story made me cry.

Oh my sweet goodness, how often do you see a photo of snow on cactus! Amazing.

I tell you, Dawn and Kevin aren't writing this fast enough for me. I'm literally hanging on by my fingernails every morning, hoping they've each done the next installment. What a service they're doing and the honesty and transparency they're both displaying? Well...it's just a blessing.

Snow on cactus. Amazing.

When you said you were coming to Texas for Easter, and I heard the weather report I was a tad concerned. Who would have thunk it? We didn't get snow down in our neck of the woods, but it was way too cold for Easter in Texas.
Glad you had a good visit.

*lol* My idea of snow is the kind that only sticks around for one day too ...

Unfortunately here in NW Pennsylvania, those types of snowfalls are far and few between. :-)

Have a nice day tomorrow!

Love,

Jennelle

Cool gadget. I like that kind of snow - 1 day and then gone. The picture was cool though, snow on cactus...neat.

It's snowing today in Iowa!

Thanks for your visit to my "rant" on my blog.

Tell your son I'm proud of him, too. Though I don't really like being called ma'am because it makes me feel as old as I am. But I'd never think he was making fun.

I'm certainly praying that my daughters find a Jesus-loving, God-fearing, polite and respectful man as a future husband....
