It's a Bi-polar kinda day

Anyone else ever go from passion to pouting.....in about 5 seconds? Well, I've set the timer--I'm officially pouting! It started last night and I have allowed myself 24 hours of honest-to-goodness, stomp-your-feet-throw-yourself-on-the-floor-POUTING!

I woke up this morning with a rock-solid-comittment to continue my tyraid; that is until I did my daily blog browsing. It all started with this refreshing post, then this enlightening post, this smile-invoking post, and then to top it all off, I visited this blog and turned my pouting timer off. Shannon directed all of her readers to this blog which made me feel just a little sheepish, to say the least. I picked myself off the floor, threw off my pouting cloak and put on my prayer shawl! Not literally of course, but my spirit has changed.

Is there a lesson in this? Yes, when you want to drown in your misery--don't go blog browsing! Actually, there are deeper lessons, I'm sure, but for now, I am off to 'my quiet corner' to pray for MomRN2's little girl. And while I am there, I am going to thank God for each of you! I look forward to your daily visits and I race to visit your blogs each day. Now, please don't send me referrals to "addicted to blogging support groups!" I've got this under control! (Is that the classic denial lingo???!!! or what!?) Besides, I am too busy trying to change the template of my blog so I can rediscover my sidebar! I've contacted Tech support, they have suggested a solution; alas, it was only temporary. No big deal though, I have more important things to do! I'm off to my 'quiet corner'!

Bless your heart!! I don't think I am bi-polar but I sure go through those times at that TOM (I'm learning these abbreviations or whatever they are called a little). My family wants to move away during that week before when I'm real emotional and moody. Thank the Lord for our blogging sisters and friends that can have just the right post to help us and encourage us when we need it. I too am checking sites all throughout the day to keep up with posts. I can't wait to read what all of them have put on for the day. I'm addicted for sure!!! Thank you for the comments you have left on my site. You've been one of the ones that have encouraged me greatly.

I added that mom to my prayer list last night as well. Emma posted a link. By now others probably have spread the word too.

Thanks for your comment. I've heard all babies look like Winston Churchill but he's our little Winnie. They improve quickly.

Hey, there's nothing like a good old 45 second pout-out. So what if it's all day for you. You're the mom and you're entitled every now and then...

The kicker comes when you question that in doing so, are you really putting on the face of Christ?

Good to see you putting on the right garb. I'm going to my corner now too.

Thanks so much for the message you left on my blog.

Guess what, I had the same kind of day! I'm in major change mode and it is stretching me to the nth degree.

Finding out what is going on in others is certainly a wake up call and puts things back in perspective!

Blessings to you and a "kinddable and shinedable" day. A kidism from our fam.

I always feel that any troubles I may have pale in comparison to some of the blogs I read.
Helps put everything in perspective, doesn't it? ....

I can't tell you how much I loved this post. I too had the same emotions you did. Except, I didn't discover MomRN2's dilemna until AFTER I posted my post. Otherwise, I wouldn't have... make any sense?

That poor little girl! And that poor mom! They're on my prayer list too. Please also lift up Aaron, who was my best friend as a teenager. He just found out he has acute leukemia and almost died. They're scrubbing his blood and starting emergency chemo today. His wife is beside herself and his two kids are very small. His mom already lost her oldest daughter at the age of ten. They all need lots of prayer right now.

There are so many things/people/needs/ hurts to pray for tonight. I am adding this family to my list.

My oldest is graduating in less than 12 hours. I have been riding this emotional rollercoaster for 9 months now. Tonight I am at peace. Tomorrow I will be in tears. In between I very well could eat my way through a dozen Hershey bars to keep from screaming at whomever isn't ready on time!!

What beautiful comments you have already received. And I agree for the most part have quick changes in emotions isn't so unusual. I think some time praying in the corner is the most helpful..healthy thing for you to do.
