Having some fun on this Monday morning!

After doing some blog browsing over the weekend, I ran across a brilliant idea at http://tortelitha.blogspot.com/

Ms. "Dull as Dishwasher" has come up with a not-so-dull way of getting to know my blogging partners a little better. She refers to this idea as "this is where it all happens." Isn't this an adventure!

And...keeping to the fun of this idea...this is my view (when I stand up!):

I would LOVE it if my blogging partners would post your space--"Where it all happens!" I love getting to know each of your better...not only are you my prayer partners...you are my blogging buddies!

Oh--and one more thing before I leave my space....if anyone could let me know just how you post photos in someone's comment section...I'd be very happy! Until I hear from you--I'll be doing some blog-on-line-research...and won't be able to stand up and see my view! So, if you know, and if it's not too time consuming--I'd appreciate the break and the opportunity to broaden my horizons!

Diane

Thanks for your comment on my blog. I really appreciate the kind words.

And it's funny that you have asked people to post pictures of their space. When I get my next post up, you will see more pictures of "my space" than you ever wanted to see. (Prepare yourself... and please visit again.)

Praying for your prodigal too,
Lori

Your pictures are a fun idea. I love the view! We don't get a lot of snow in Texas and I miss it! It's my first time visiting your and I've got to recommend your blog to my mom. I have a prodigal sibling and I know your faith will be an encouragement to her.

And thanks for visiting my site. It's so new I don't get many visitors yet! =0)

First off, Thanks for visiting my blog! I haven't tried Imitrex but I'll definitely have a look for it!

I will also try to get a post about my space up this week - I've been meaning to do it for a while!

Hmmm... I posted a pic in my comments by putting one in my Blogger profile. Because it's part of my profile, I think it automatically gets added to my comments, too. Hope this helps!

What a great view. I have windows all around my desk at home and my desk at work.

I have no idea how you post pics in comments.

Thanks for coming by...

If you mean the little photo that are by your name when you comment, it is the same photo as the one you upload in you profile area and it just happens automatically.

Hi Diane! Thank you for your kind and uplifting comments on my blog. I've been reading through your posts and find that we both have prodigal sons. My son Dylan is 28. Long story, but I've learned to stop beating myself with my past mistakes in his upbringing, and just continue to be a blessing in his life, loving him and giving him over to the Lord. Most recently a pastor has come into his life and he has been going to church on a semi-regular basis. Our Lord is faithful to be sure!

You cannot come to my house if you are that neat!

I only know how to use the profile to insert a picture for posting. Sorry, I am a computer illiterate, trial-by-error kind of gal.

What a fabulous idea. Now if only I can remember to bring the camera to work...

Thanks for all your replies. As to the organization of my little corner....hmmmm...I guess my digital camera really doesn't tell the real story! Thank goodness! :)

Emily--I am especially glad you came by--it is such a blessing to meet another mother who has walked my walk--and has survived the journey so well! I appreciate your encouragement and willingness to share. God Bless you-and yes...thank God for His faithfulness.

Thanks for your kind comment. I don't have a photo of my view for the moment.

But my view is through the lens of hope, most of the time. My husband had a stroke 11 years ago and many following seizure episodes. He used to make great money. He really struggles to find any work.

He makes up for financial lack with kindness, cooking, cleaning, running errands and consistently praying for my hair business, skin care business and spiritual needs.

I would never have chosen this plight for either of us. But the sustaining grace of our loving Father nurtures and strengthens us.

It is so good to hear from you.

May all your days be kissed with His unfathomable favor and love.
