Spirit Soaring

While the circumstances of life have not changed at all, my Spirit continues to be blessed beyond measure! I ran across a post today that I want to share with each of you. After reading Heather's post today, I commented to her that I was printing her post out and tucking it into my Bible! How selfish of me had I not shared it with others.

I discovered My Midlife Moments while blog surfing some time ago. With each visit I made, I left feeling amazed at Heather's authentic walk of faith. While our struggles may not be the same circumstance, there is a common theme: struggles happen. Heather's voice is rich in faith, deeply trusting Jesus to walk side-by-side through life, and quick to share that He has never failed her. There's strength for the battle found on her site.

Stop by for a visit today; give her a word of encouragement to strengthen her Spirit. But, be prepared for a blessing of your own! I pray your heart will be lifted and that your Spirit will soar after you leave her blog! If I had any graphic-building abilities, I would award Heather the Eagles Wing Award! For certainly, Heather is a shining example of Isaiah 40:31, "but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

Run over to Heather's place....may your strength and heart be renewed!~

Thanks for visiting my blog...feel free to come back anytime.

I'm a dyed-in-the-wool Pentecostal who attends a very decidedly NonPentecostal church right now.

Nothing wrong with that. As long as Jesus is preached, honored, and worshipped, I have no problem with that.

I have read Heather before, but today was particularly good. Thanks for pointing us in her direction. She has a heavy burden, but what a sweet little girl!

Hi Diane, thanks for visiting Australia!!I haven't read the quote that you left before but Henri Nouwen whom I have quoted on my blog has a great book "The Wounded Healer" Of course Jesus is the ultimate wounded healer.

Let's visit again!!

Re your comment today - we had two wedding in 6 months! What fun and what stress! The cake was the centerpiece of this wedding. She wanted something that wasn't traditionally American. We had fun picking it out. Thanks!
